Video on how energy systems are designed in games

*WARNING* Discussion of WoW exists in the vid, if you are avoiding triggers, do not watch *WARNING* I saw this video while watching other tutorials on youtube about website and game design, and thought it might be educational to post here. The speaker talks from a design perspective, but what is talked about can appeal to people on how the games energy systems are designed to keep people playing amidst tedium and low content in games. If you'd like to know more, give this vid a watch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkfsTM54zB4

Wow... That was like a Ted

Wow... That was like a Ted Talks but a cartoon. Well, that eliminates my drive for games using energy systems. I.E. Not renewing that subscription to EvE.
