I am not good at affirmations usually but this seems a good time to start. A few years back someone suggested doing A-Z affirmations where you say good things about yourself starting from the letter A and going through the alphabet. I have not done this in a while, so I will do a few:
I am adorable
I am beautiful
I am capable
I am driven
Feel free to add your own in any format you like.
Well, here are 4 more starting at the letter "E": I am excellent
I am fun

Don't fool yourself with the 'What if' phrase!
If we are willing to skip a first letter, there are many other possibilities, such as "I am X-cellent".A However, there are very few appropriate words in English that actually start with the letter "X" that I aware of.A In fact, the only one that I know of is "xenophile" which means somebody who likes the people, customs and culture of other countries, or things from abroad.A As such, although xenophile is not a common term (at least not with any normal person that I have ever had a conversation with :) , although I think that it is a shame that its antonym, i.e, xenophobia (which means to have an intense fear or dislike of foreign people, customs, culture or things), is much better known), one possibility is: I am an xenophile Alternatively, although this is likely not a real word, in keeping in the same form as above of using adverbs (it has been about 30 years since I studied English grammar, so I hope that is the correct term rather than something like adjectives since we are using a "to be" verb rather than another verb type), then another example may be: I am xenophilic

I am currently using the following set of longer daily self-affirmations: Every day and in every way, I keep getting better and better. I am healthy, happy, successful and wealthy. I am efficient, productive, conscientious and hardworking. I have a reliable, trustworthy, communicative and understanding wife. I am completely past everything blocking me from experiencing an enjoyable, satisfying and fulfilling life. In my blog entry My daily self-affirmations, I provide some history regarding these affirmations, and what I think is important in choosing and using affirmations.

I am who I am and God Loves me no matter what I do or did. I am forgiven for my sins. I am thankful for such a wonderful blessing. I am appreciative for those who support me. I am strong. I am motivated. I am loving. I am caring. I am aware of my faults. I am successful. I am reminding myself that I need to look back at the past only for a moment to make sure I don't make the same mistake more than once. I am planning for the future and thank God that he was with me the past and will be with me in the future. I am someone who loves myself and others. I am....
