Now that you aren't playing you may have extra time. Hehehe. You could use some of that to get back into real life, but you may want to use some of it for recovery activities. Here are some videos and audio files that have helped me:
1. Here's a talk which will help you understand the disease of addiction. It helped me a lot, from the beginning:
Go into the folder labeled "AA Talks"
Look for the folder "Disease Model of Addiction"
There are two mp3's, Part I and Part II, one hour each.

3. This one actually lists a series of 9 talks by the same guy up in #1. It's an alternative to #1, if you only want to spend about 40 minutes rather than a couple of hours:
4. There are lots of AA talks on You Tube. They are really audios (the video is just the AA symbol). They are good. For a start, try Earl H. or Lilly L. As always on You Tube, once you see one, it takes you to others....
