Hello everyone. My names Steven.
Just alitle about myself.
I'm 20, not really doing anything with my life at the moment. I live with my parents still. Went to college for two semesters, trying to join the military. Had a job but due to my addiction got fired because I wouldn't show up. Stealing money from my family just so I can buy games and pay my sub fee for ESO. Oh and have been gaming for 10+ years. The addiciton is starting to bite me in the butt.
I was following Elder Scrolls Online when they announced it a couple years back. I got really excited about it and when it came out I was very extreme about it. I played for awhile and got bored. Then I got my first job and in my down time I started to get bored and played again. I would play for hours and even missed work for two weeks. I called one day to see when I worked and they said I was fired. So I decided to not worry about it and keep playing. Then I wasted all my money on a new gaming setup just for the game. So a few weeks later my grandfather died and in the will money was giving to the whole family not just one person. I found the money two weeks ago in my parents room in the safe. I took about $160 out and got more stuff for ESO and for some new games. I'm starting to think that I have a really big problem and I'm worried that when they count the money they'll know it was me and kick me out. Hopefully I can get some help soon.
If anyone has any questions just pm me or something.
You need to stop it right now... I'm curious with all that money wasted in the game and time how good was a player you became? Some guys are just addicted because they reach a determinate rank in gaming and they want to keep there..
Anyways mate hope this people help you, change your routine right know explore ways to get the money back, try to find a part time job or something to pay that money you took, you will feel better doing that...
Change your routine it's the first step I believe.
Hi Kirito and welcome to Olga. You've made the first step towards quitting gaming and that is to admit that you have a problem and can't deal with it alone. And that's what we are here for - to support and encourage each other in quitting gaming and taking back our real lives. I'm glad you found us. I would encourage you to come to some meetings. It helps to connect with others that are going through the same thing. We have meetings every day several times a day. Here's the schedule: http://www.olganon.org/?q=node/46551
Hope to see you around. Good luck!

I haven't played in about three days. Its hard to do but I think its the first game I need to get rid of before I get rid of the other not so addictive games. Yea I got a pretty high ranking in the game. Gonna get another job soon and then put the money back before anyone notices. Thanks for the advice.
