(WARNING GAME DOWNLOAD LINKS AND IMAGERY)

I'm so sorry folks, when I initially posted this I wasn't thinking! Thank you John for letting me know there were links to the game in the article. So sorry!

Cheers, Desire to Stop
ALL quoted text (unless otherwise stated) comes from the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous (with wording sometimes changed only to make it more relevant for gaming addiction). I will include page numbers.

Hoping & praying for a measure of recovery for all of us today.

As much as I do not advocate

As much as I do not advocate video games for kids, this one appears to have good intentions. Children with cancer can play Re-mission by entering the pixelated world INSIDE the body where they fight cancer cells. Creative visualization is a very good technique to use with cancer patients. This game simulates visualization, in a sense. Hopefully the young cancer patient will be taught how to use the visual world of Re-mission and actively visualize healing within their own body. One can only hope..

The question is....will you be able/courageous/adult enough to sacrifice that which merely pleases you...for that which will truly fulfill you? That is the question of personal growth.
