cant let my friends down

so im kinda addicted to league of legends.. it takes a lot from my daily time like 3-6 hours a day. I usually study less cause of that. I still do stuff with my friends and i usually choose friends over lol or other games.. The biggest problem of mine is that i cant just leave my teammates, my friends from the game. I think i could stop by selling my account but im not sure, because i have never tried not playing (im playing lol for 2 years and have 120 days on it). So im not sure what should i do and also if im caupable of doing it .

You are capable of it, and

You are capable of it, and in my opinion you're at the stage where this is the best time to leave gaming behind since you're still socialising with friends. But also your exams should come first and trust me a few months ago I was doing the very same thing and did very poorly in my exams.

If you can understand that this is a problem that from what I can see, could be worse, you can see what the cost of continuing to play will have on your social life, school work which'll lead onto not getting the education you could get, and the list goes on. We have meetings as you can see at the top of the website and the times are there, feel free to join in and have a chat we usually talk after the meetings.

Looking at the posts in this forum may also give you an indepth look of what could happen and hopefully it will give you that push to thrive and leave the addiction behind.

I hate to tell you, but you

I hate to tell you, but you have to let them go. You will continue to convince yourself to go back. My best friend still plays video games everyday, I quit but he couldn't. I know how hard it can be to leave them behind, but you need to if you want to quit.

Hope this helps

hi,

the most important thing is Honesty

be honest with yourself and seriously open a conversation with yourself. focus.

only he or she who has a True Desire to stop playing video games will succeed.
