I'd write down why you think

I'd write down why you think gaming hurt you. And why you want to stay quit. That can help remind you when you are tempted to do it.

Then maybe ask your cousin to maybe do something else when you visit? If he respects that you have a problem, maybe he can help you. For example, now I play board games with my son and watch funny movies.

We go places, ride bikes.. go shopping, play cards. If your cousin doesn't also have a gaming problem, then I don't think he will mind taking a few days off from it when you visit him.

Maybe you can be a good influences.

Ugh, that's rough having a trigger come visit for 2 months just when you're making changes. We feel your pain! Enlist the whole family in supporting the change if you can, and like Kate suggests, shake it up! Make new memories with that cousin that involve real activities. Glad you found us, eduredpal and hope you'll make the most of the support this site offers.

Acceptance. When I am disturbed, it is because a person, place, thing, or situation is unacceptable to me. I find no serenity until I accept my life as being exactly the way it is meant to be. Nothing happens in God’s world by mistake.  Acknowledge the problem, but live the solution!

Thank you very much for the support Gettingalife, I feel a lot better now and Ill keep fighting against my addictions. Another issue I have is that even after I quit gaming I still listen a lot of videogames music(OriginalSoundTracks, covers, etc) and when I do it I feel good indeed, but somehow also nostalgic because when I listen certain music of certain event in the game I remenber that moment and feel a bit sad for remenbering that moment but not being able to repeat it... What should I do? Should I stop listening videogames music?

If the music is making you

If the music is making you want to game then stoping listening to those tracks for a while might help. Or you can try give the music new memories, listen to it with family and friends and just go drive around a random area talking about life. Then when you hear the song again try to focus on this memory not the others.
