"The Only Thing I Know" - A video regarding Game addiction

Hello to all.

I remembered shortly after registering here that there is one thing that I return to regularly to assist me in gaining control of my desires for games and that is this flash created by Brian Schmoyer.

The Only Thing I Know

http://exgamer.net/blog/?p=1309

There were quite a few game advertisements on the original page. I have changed the link to my blog, which is a gaming addiction site. Thanks, Brad

Admin note - Exgamer.net is no longer in existence

The author tells of his own bout with video game addiction as well as presenting the "good" side of games (which is the community, and actual human interaction). He remains very well composed and does not degrade gamers or game-creators. He presents his story and his views on how games affect our society.

I enjoy this flash so much because every time I watch it, I know just where my priorities are and feel better immediately afterwards.

Enjoy.

A FANTASTIC

A FANTASTIC Video!!!!

TY for sharing that!

The question is....will you be able/courageous/adult enough to sacrifice that which merely pleases you...for that which will truly fulfill you? That is the question of personal growth.

I, likewise, also enjoyed watching it. Thank you, Brad, for putting it on your blog without the advertisements and letting us know about it here.

A few years ago, I watched a very similar video, at least with the same visual character, but with a different script as I recall. I suspect that it was by the same author.

Yeah i remember seeing that

Yeah i remember seeing that great video a little ways back, and how helpfull it was for me to watch,Ty for linking it for all of us to see,and for those who have seen it before,to get a good healthy reminder of what we can lose out on if we put games before anything else.

"It's all in your mind...Whatever you hold in your mind will tend to occur in your life.If you continue to believe as you have always believed, you will continue to act as you have always acted. If you continue to act as you have always acted, you will continue to get what you have always gotten. If you want different results in your life or your work, all you have to do is change your mind." A video is a great way to reach out to gamers since we are mostly visually orientated people. Thanks for posting the video, anything can help!

I was trying to watch the video today, but it seems like the link has been broken for a while.

However, I was also able to find it on YouTube. Hopefully this is the same video as the original:

I like the video. It is

I like the video. It is uplifting and positive. Very good and job well done. I suggest others watch this. It shows the truth behind games. I have come to similar conclusions myself.
