19 is not too late... in fact, itA's never too late...
The only moment is now, and the only reality is from now towards death. Death may come tomorrow, or in 80 years. The only thing that matters is that we have lived a life we can be proud about when we do finally die.
Glad you have found the power to quit the game and delete your char... You are trying to find a new life and those who seeketh, those findeth
I love to play the guitar by the way ... need to relearn it though, as I have learnt it in a right handed way and I am left handed. Will see when I will get to it.
Welcome to a new life, the life after addiction ... the advantage we have is that we can look at all the simple things in life , friends, nature, just going out with normal people and appreciate it even more than they can, as we have been to an abyss, where all that was lost.
It is a bit like becoming healed from an incurable illness... the whole world looks different

Welcome to the group, and good luck on your journey. My case is like yours in that gaming has dominated my life for quite a few years, and I'm just now trying to do something about it.
What really gets me is how insanely profitable our addiction is for Blizzard. Both you and I played WoW, as do 6.6 million people around the world. I know that I paid $14.95 a month for the lost sleep, poor grades, and inability to remember much besides games. So if there are 6.6 million people playing WoW, and each pays $14.95...that's a little over $98.5 million in the course of a month. I'm more than willing to bet that there are drug lords that don't gross so much!
And of course those numbers completely ignore the secondary industries of gold and equipment farming.
Keep strong, and keep playing guitar. I know I'm gonna keep writing.
