I'm losing my family because of online gaming

Help..  I'm losing my family. I've tried to overcome this by myself with absolutely no luck.   I have they greatest fiancee in the world that has until now stuck beside me after the numerous times I've hurt her over this.   I have set up an appointment to see someone but I'm afraid is too late.   She was going to give me 1 more chance but today I blew it when I logged back in to the game.   Now she doesn't trust, me which I completely understand.  If she walks and takes my 2 year old baby girl with her I have no world left.  They are what I wake up for every day and it's killing me to know that I've hurt  them so bad. I just don't know how to put my life back together.  It seems the more i try the more I'm sucked back into this world.  just about ready to give up completely.

welcome

Hey I've been there!  You're not alone.  My relationship was a wreck back when I was gaming.  I've been able to abstain from gaming for a good long while now and things have gotten better.  I still struggle sometimes but I get the sleep I need, things are better at work, my relationships are on the mend, and I feel a whole lot better about myself.  I hope to see (or hear) you at a voice meeting!  Feel free to write me if you want to talk some time.

Sorry :/

Hi TnJoker,

I'm really sorry to hear about your gaming addiction and possibly losing important people in your life. That really sucks. :(

The good news is that you've sought out help! Start getting involved in this community and reading other people's stories. Reply to and encourage other people. One of the most useful, if really sad, things you can do is learn from other people's mistakes. Read the stories of others and learn from them.

If you quit gaming now, there is hope! Let this be a turning point!

Take care! Send me a personal message and I might be able to do some video support.

wish you the best!
