UPDATE!!! WoW-- World Of Warcraft... I'm losing my husband

Well here is an update!!!! The day i posted my forum topic i had a talk with my husband. He admits that he does have a problem. He has stopped playing til all hours of the night and has started spending more time with me and Zelda! We have made an agreement. That he doesn't get online until after 8 pm and he needs to be off by midnight. On occasion he forgets what time it is and i go to bed at 10pm so its a work in progress but it has improved our lives. And another thing is... During the day while he is at work i sometimes play his character and complete some of his dailys (daily quests) so he will spend more time with me. I enjoy playing but i don't play to the excess that my hubby does, for one i have to respond quickly when Zelda wakes up from her nap !
Thanks for the advice and help

Well, that is good news. But

Well, that is good news. But with the new expansion coming out on Nov 13th, he will want to play more and see more in the game. The only comment I can give as far as you doing his daily quests, you are enabling him to continue. I worry about you getting addicted.

The question is....will you be able/courageous/adult enough to sacrifice that which merely pleases you...for that which will truly fulfill you? That is the question of personal growth.

I've been doing some

I've been doing some research for a presentation this week. The amount of money this company is making is absolutely obscene: http://investing.businessweek.com/research/stocks/earnings/earnings.asp?symbol=ATVI.O Activision Blizzard, Inc.'s Annual Revenues Activision Blizzard, Inc. had revenues for the full year 2008 of $2.9B. This was 91.5% above the prior year's results. They've got a 63% market share in the MMORPG genre, they're about to take off again with the expansion and they won't even comment on the addiction issue.

The happiness of a man in this life does not consist in the absence but in the mastery of his passions.

Geesh. At least then won't be getting my $$$ for the expansion and monthly fee.
