"Roll away your Stone" by Mumford and Sons

I stumbled upon this song, "Roll Away your Stone" by Mumford & Sons the other week.

The lyrics touched me and haunted me, and I couldn't stop thinking about a few lines in the song. It seemed to be about addiction in general, and the soul stealing nature of it. Although I am not an addict, it seemed to capture the desperation of addiction.

A few profound quotes from it: "I am afraid of what I will discover inside, You told me that I would find a hole..within the fragile substance of my soul. I have filled this void with things unreal, and all the while my character it steals. You have gone to far this time, you have neither reason or rhyme... to take this soul, which is so rightly mine."

If I could share the link to the song I would..it is a great song to inspire.

Acceptance. When I am disturbed, it is because a person, place, thing, or situation is unacceptable to me. I find no serenity until I accept my life as being exactly the way it is meant to be. Nothing happens in God’s world by mistake.  Acknowledge the problem, but live the solution!
