Acceptance. When I am disturbed, it is because a person, place, thing, or situation is unacceptable to me. I find no serenity until I accept my life as being exactly the way it is meant to be. Nothing happens in God’s world by mistake.  Acknowledge the problem, but live the solution!

Interesting articles.  I

Interesting articles. I love the WAIT acronymn! I'm of the belief that not all technology is bad. It definitely isn't going away any time soon but we do need to learn how to interact with it. One can make the analogy between an infant to its mother as society is to technology. We as society need to learn how to use technology. To train ourselves and others around it how to be considerate with it. Too many times in the grocery store I see people on their headsets talking away while a checker is ringing up their items. To me that is just plain rude. I'm guilty of checking my phone too often to see who has responded to my blogs. It's ridiculous. I'm setting limits on myself as to when I check these things and where.

Also I'm finding that I'm relearning how to interact with people in my life. It's so different than being in text. Real communication is an investment and personally I'm liking it! I've had much more meaningful conversations with my real friends than any gaming friends, that's for sure! And relearning compassion (as talked about in one of the articles) is so true! It's like a part of me that went away for awhile during gaming. I used to be a very compassionate person and I'm having to relearn that all over.
