Shawn Rumble (B.A., B.Ed., M.E.S., CPGC, C.C.A.C., C.C.C.S) is a Certified Problem Gambling Counsellor, Certified Addiction Counsellor, and Certified Clinical Supervisor. Shawn holds professional memberships with NAADAC, the association for Addiction Professionals, National Council on Problem Gambling, Canadian College of Health Leaders, Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification Federation, and the Behavioral Health Association of Providers. In addition to training, program development, and building collaborative partnerships, Shawn specializes in Problem Gambling, Video Game Dependency, Holistic & 12 Step Approaches to Recovery, as well as Chemical Dependency. He has been instrumental in the creation of PGIO/CAMH’s Soul Crush Story as well as the companion Facilitator’s Manual, Ontario’s first Residential Treatment Program for internet and Video Game Dependencies, Canada’s first Residential Family/Friend Treatment Program to support those affected by Gambling, Gaming or Internet Dependency, and Ontario’s first Digital Dependency Awareness Conference.
